Under Maryland law, only a state certified, licensed practitioner can decide if you qualify for medical cannabis. Once a physician has recommended cannabis, you must register as a qualified patient with the state to acquire your medical cannabis card. Any non-Maryland resident currently in Maryland for the purpose of receiving medical treatment is eligible to register as a patient and, during registration, will be required to provide the address of and a contact name for the Maryland medical facility where that patient is receiving treatment.
Here are the steps you need to take to become a qualified patient of Curaleaf MD:
- Register as a patient with MMCC
- Obtain a written certification from a provider registered with the Commission
- Visit a licensed Maryland dispensary
- Purchase ID Card (optional)
